I've been doing a bit of clearing up - and came across three old watches. Not sure if they will be of any interest to you lot, but thought I'd post in case anyone can tell me anything about them.

CASIO Quartz. This was my first ever watch. Must be early 80's. I'll need to replace the battery to see if it still works.

Molnija (I think!). Wound it, still working. Bought for me by my Brother when he was in Eastern Europe prior to the Wall coming down. Must be 20+ years ago.

Waltham. This one I'm most interested in. It was in my Grandfathers possessions and nobody else wanted it. I know nothing more about this one. Wound it, still works smile

Well, they're not expensive but clearly have sentimental value. I like the second and third ones.

I thought that it had been up Capt. Koons ass for five long years, but it seems to be accepted now that it was a Lancet and not a Waltham.

Really like the Molnija pocket watch, I've never heard of them so checked eBay and was surprised at how little they were changing hands. Totally kitsch! Remind me (in a happy rose tinted way) of a trip to Lourdes when I was in shorts and grubby knees and the round embossed hip flasks they sold in the souvenir shops for carrying the holy water home. My Dad bought two wink
