Breitlng Avenger - grinding when winding
Discussion
Had the Avenger for nearly a year now and it is starting to grind when I wind it, if I push the crown in and out a bit and get over the initial grind then it winds ok - is it damaged?
Winding this thing is a right pain as it is very difficult to push the crown in at the end and wind to lock it.

Sounds like a crappy Breitling soldered crown tube issue. Off to to BUK service with it I'm afraid...Winding this thing is a right pain as it is very difficult to push the crown in at the end and wind to lock it.

Are sure your not trying to wind it when then hands are between 10 and 12 pm. when the date is moving over. That can damage the watch.
er, I don't think so, why does this make a difference? Maybe I need to send it to the dealer, its less than a year old, there should not be any charge should there?

I think you've got this stick at the wrong end. You shouldn't change date between 10 and 12 pm as the date change mechanism is already engaged and you can cause damage to it. Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
