Tag Heuer F1 Chrono (old style) date wheel 'slipped' - fix?
Discussion
Afternoon all,
I have been digging through my old watches and other stuff and getting it moved on.
I have a Ltd Edition (Renault F1 team, numbered etc) Yellow dial CA1213 Tag F1 Chronograph that has never been worn and has original tags and things.
The last time it had a full battery service with Tag, it came back with the date not showing square (sits between two numbers) in the window.
If you wind it on, it clicks into the right place but then when it goes to change the next day, it looks like it only move halfway to the next day.
I would have sent it back but I moved countries, it was put away and wasn't dug out again for about 10 years!
Is there anyone in the London/ Surrey area who could be recommended to take a look for a reasonable price? Would prefer not to pay postage/ insurance both ways!

Wow! We must be doing something right - 2 recommendations on different threads in the same week
Shouldn't be a huge problem to cure - if it's the ETA movement version then we keep most of the date-work parts in stock. Postage using special delivery isn't all that bad, btw - around £10 with £2.5k insurance and I've never known them lose or break one yet!
