Interesting that rolex never paid for product placement, wonder if that is regretted now that Omega have jumped on board.

Yeah, just by luck that Rolex was chosen originally, I guess. If Broccoli had a Mickey Mouse Hands watch, things might have been different. biggrin

Could have been an interesting article if I had made it past the massive pop up and log in prompt that would not go away.

Anyone know how to make the half page login thing go away ?

I completely adore the old Submariners but is it just me that can't fall for the Seamasters?

Bond with a Speedmaster would be very cool.

Not really. Fleming used Rolex watches for the character, although he was quite vague when it came to descriptions and his 'massive' knuckle duster watch may be regarded as a girls size now...

Always been into bond watches - ever since I had a ZEON 007 watch as a kid that played the bond theme tune.

I count two mistakes in that....anyone notice more?

Mr Big/Kananga - "Solitaire, the serial number on the back of Mr Bond's watch is..."

c.1982 I remember saving empty Monster Munch packets and sending a postal order for one of those Bond musical digital watches. After waiting OVER the required 28 days I got the PO back and a letter saying they had run out of them. I was gutted and it's scarred me to this day. Thanks Smiths Crisps!

Not bad, and nearly right, OHMSS, George Lazenby wore a Rolex Chronograph reference 6238 pre-Daytona
