I have a couple of Seiko nonsters (Black & Orange) and - after an extended period of wearing only my Squale 20 Atmos every day - have started including the Orange Monster in the rotation again. Must be spring around the corner.

Anyway - getting slightly irked keping the Monster running when it's not being worn / having to reset it every time it is worn, I wondered if it may be an idea to pick up one of the newer (sharktooth) hackable and hnd-windable Orange Monsters.

Having a look on Creation, I noticed a new Monster using the 6R15 movement.
Looks nice apart from them irritatngly including a date mgnifiier. Never liked these, and in fact replaced the crystal on my Squale with a domed, cyclopsless itesm. That aside, it looks like a nice watch, albeit pricey for a Monster.

Don't visit this area of the forum as often as I used to, so the discussion may have passed me by. Anyone see / picked up one of these yet?

I don't remember much chat about this one in the past. One thing I will say though is that unless you're going to keep it (hand) wound you'll still be resetting it as you are with your current Monster. Unless you intend on keeping it wound and really fancy something that can hack I wouldn't bother, especially for the extra £.

I thought that the SRP309 hand winds and hacks, no mention of this on creationwatches site though. Half the price of the Prospex version.

Edit - yup, if you just want hand winding and hacking go for the SRP309, no need to step up to the SBDC023 smile

Yup stick with the SRP309, 4R36 is still a good movement.

Yep, think the SRP is still the one to pick up. I bought the original OM in preference to the newer model at the time - in case they became harder to find.
Still glad to have one, but havng an OM I can pick up and wind in the morning if it's not being worn that day sounds like a plan.

AT £134 including another bracelet from Creation,it feels like a no-brainer.

Just need to get it delivered to work - rather than the house - and no-one will even notice... smile
