Basel Watch fair

Hello

After many years reading articles, drooling over pictures and wishing I had been there I have booked my flights and am heading to Basel tomorrow morning.

Has anyone been before?

I hear it is a huge exhibition and there will be a lot of walking about.

I am looking forward to seeing the new rose gold Yachtmaster with its rubber strap. I think this will be a good seller and popular with buyers who like the rose gold Daytona with the leather strap.

I expect there will be crowds around the Rolex stand and I hear it is a look but can't touch as they are all behind glass displays.

It's the other more specialist manufacturers that I think will be of greater interest.
I will take some snaps and post them on my return.

I would welcome any top tips to getting the best from the show from those that have been before.

Nice one. I'd probably end up disappointed that I haven't earned more money to buy unnecessary watches.

I'm flying out tomorrow AM.

It's a great show, you will need appointments too see most things in Hall 1. You can't even walk onto many stands without appointments.
