No experience with selling through Chrono24, but I've sold many watches via the PH Classifieds without hassle! As you're a long standing member, your advert will be free to publish!
A few friends have bought watches via sellers on Chrono24 ... I can't see selling a watch being too problematic, but I'd still treat it as if it were eBay. Be suspicious of any 'scam-like' e-mails, or payment with Western Union etc.

Just make sure the contract is outside of ebay as you will always lose any dispute filed by the buyer. Ebay operate a 30 day return program on anything sold by their sellers. The buyer does not need any excuse to return an item within that time-frame. The honeymoon period for watches normally ends before that time and they can send it back to you, potentially all scratched up, and ebay will refund the buyer, no questions asked. They will automatically take the funds from your paypal account in order to re-imburse the buyer. If you do not have the funds then your paypal account goes overdrawn and they will use a 'third party' agency to recover the debt.
There was a recent case where a Rolex was sent through the post via special-delivery. The buyer claimed he received an empty box only and he was re-imbursed, no questions asked. The seller had no recourse at all.

This is what concerns me the most. I Sold a TAG via eBay recently but the buyer agreed to pay cash. My concern with with the NOMOS is that it's a bit niche on top of the security risks. Cheers for your comments
I opened a dispute case as one of my buyers wanted to return an item on day 29 without good reason. Ebay decided in the buyers favour in less than a minute. It is a computer that decides, not a human being. It matters not what the item is. Ebay has become a sellers nightmare, with buyers exploiting it to the full.
eBay isn't completely anti-vendor. Sometimes they're anti-everyone. I have recently bought a Heuer Microsplit stopwatch from someone in Portugal, which was described as new.
It has arrived with a badly corroded battery enclosure, complete with leaking battery, missing water seal on the back and missing glass which covers the front upper portion and the LCD. To cap it all it doesn't function correctly/reliably, even when cleaned up. It's a POS, in fact.
The vendor has agreed to take it back and pay postage, but I am unable to open a 'not as described' dispute through eBay, who have washed their hands of the matter.
If he doesn't pay up as promised then I have to open a PP dispute and end up £10 out of pocket for the return postage, which represents 50% of the watch's original cost!

Is it a good place to sell? Does anyone have experience of it?
Trying to sell my NOMOS and I'm not overly keen on eBay for something like this.
Thanks.
whats wrong with ebay....ive sold a £15000 Patek on it and various other high end watches.....you don't actually sell the watch on ebay you just use it as a shop window and do the deal off ebayTrying to sell my NOMOS and I'm not overly keen on eBay for something like this.
Thanks.

Yes, that's what I've done before. Perhaps I should've said PayPal was the problem rather than ebay.michael gould said:

Exactly Michael, as I stated. Advertise on eBay but seal the deal outside of it so that you cannot be exploited by the myriad of loopholes. Gassing Station | Watches | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
