My (not so) little Parnis didn't survive the round-the-world-in-the-hold trip; she winds and runs but pulling the winder out has become literally pulling it out. I didn't mind binning and re-ordering my Timex Ironman but I am reluctant to do the same to a manual - I guess she has grown on me.

Does anyone have any idea of who might do a "have a look, fix if easy" and what it might cost me?

Thanks

Potentially a very easy fix, ask Variomatic.

The keyless work on the Seagull movements they use can be a bit of a weak spot. The design is sound but the tolerances / finish aren't always great.

Most of them will accept ETA or Selita parts from the equivalent movement (where there is one) if needed, which (usually) gives a 100% permanent fix for this sort of problem and shouldn't be scary expensive for a watch you like.
