Co axial is proprietary and not to the original Daniels plan. Omega calls for oil whereas Daniels didn't. This means that the whole reason for co ax is pointless which was rate stability due to lack of oil breaking down.
Reason Omega oiled the escarpment
was they wanted it to run at a much higher beat rate than Daniels so people could hear the high beat and be impressed so had to. Also the rest of geartrain has to be oiled anyway.
I dont like the look of current seamasters the 2000 Bond blue model was a classic and looks better than any of the newer ones. I have the chronograph and the standard auto and they are design perfection. Used good ones are still around. I bought my chrono used but the auto new.

Have to say i'mleaning towards a classic Seamaster instead now, either black or blue.

If I spend Omega master co-axial money, I'm more tempted with a Rolex sub.

Although already got a Tudor Black Bay.
