Longines conquest sport needs a service?
Discussion
Hi folks. My Longines watch is losing a lot of time. It lost 25 seconds in 16 hours when it was losing 10 seconds ish in 24 hours when new. It's just over 2 years old. Assume this means a service is required?
Any idea on rough cost and best place to use? I'd like it to go to Longines and not an Indy. Do I just send it off through a jewlers?

If you'd rather use Longines than an independent, then contact them directly.
As a matter of course, they'll probably recommend a service, but the fact that it is only just over two years old likely means it just needs regulated.
Any good watch repairer should have a timing machine, and a short period on that will indicate if the movement is in good health or not.
Even for a Longines, you'd not expect to service it for at least 4-5 years, if not longer – the ETA/Sellita/etc movements are robust and generally reliable/dependable.
Speak with Longines to see if they'll do just a regulation, since that is all I suspect it requires. If not, then look for a local independent who will.
