I'm a big fan of my Seiko Monster (black face)

I fancy wearing it on a different bracelet for a while. Perhaps a "Super Engineer" type or a chunky shark mesh.

Any recommendations?

A shark mesh is perfect for this watch, although i run mine on bright coloured rubber straps.

Mine on a Super Engineer

The only downside is the bracelet is very heavy as the links are solid and it makes for a hefty package.

Nice!

Is yours the "Super Engineer Type II"?

There seems to be a few similar ones

I finally got around to getting a new bracelet for my Moster!

I was torn between the Engineer and the Super Engineer II. I felt the latter looked slightly more modern, so I went for it. Really pleased with it! Nice weight to it too.

Why not fit the monster to a nice silicon rubber sporty strap etc.

Currently wearing a Mk1 Black Monster as we speak.

Am I the only one who things the OEM bracelet really works with the monster?

Only other braclet I'd choose would be a proper shark mesh. Other than that, I'd go for leather.

I have a super engineer 1&2 on two different watches ....both cracking watch straps ...but IMO the super engineer wears better.....the SE2 is a bit "sharp"

Chunky rubber straps can only really be carried off if you have large wrists, I think.
