Some Advice, Based On Experience?
Discussion
I have a number of watches; all what I call "boutique" brands, because the path less trodden appeals to me (Magrette, Magrette, Steinhart, Steinhart, Benarus, Deep Blue, OWC etc), plus a couple of Eco-Drives. They're mostly divers watches, because that's what matches my style.
I now have a hankering for something new, and started with the Oris Aquis Date (grey dial, orange hands). Then I remembered that I saw a Glycine Airman a while back, so I've started to consider those.
It seems pretty complicated, which is (partly) why I'm after some input. As far as I can see, the Airman 17 is 46mm, and the Airman 22 is 42mm. Otherwise, they seem the same spec, and are available in 3 or 4 hands, and 2 or 3 time zones. Is that right?
I'm also interested in opinions of the Oris versus the Glycine.

And then I saw the Glycine Combat Sub Goldeneye. So now I want one of them too.

Super quick ... Read my review of the Glycine Lagunare Chrono. I love it. In fact, it's still in my very small collection! The best advice I can give is buy second hand. Glycine watches have a tendency to depreciate a fair bit! This is not to say that the quality is lacking; it's more the fact that no one outside watch circles have heard of them! Chrono24.com is a good place to source a Glycine. If you'd like to buy new, they're not terribly expensive, and can be bought from Jura Watches in the UK ...

Yep! Airman 17 is 46mm and Airman 22 is 42mm ... However I do not believe there is a choice of 3/4 hands. Both watches have minute/hour/seconds/GMT hand. It's just the GMT hand differs on each model. That said, I believe the bezel bi-rotates, giving you three time zones overall. The Airman Seven gives you 3 time zones, but in a neater package. However the display backs are well finished for the price point!
