I don't mean to sound negative, but if you need convincing, then perhaps it's not the right watch ... ? Do you have any concerns? Have you tried on a ROO? It's a good price for a UK based ROO and it's made by one of the holy trinity of watchmakers. It'll hold value too, so if you ever need to move it on, you shouldn't lose out. I love the ROO, as well as that particular colour combination.

If you like it, go for it! If you're unsure, perhaps try it on your wrist first, if you can. Does Official Watches have a decent returns policy? Are there any other pieces out there making your choice more difficult?

The part I need convincing is the price as its a fair chunk, the piece cost £19k when new & appears to have done its appreciation
Never tried a ROO but have always been allured by them & now I can afford it (just) & love the blue combo & like a leather strap
will look at this one next week

for what its worth there are 4 watches in my holy grail

rolex submariner (which I own)
Roo (as above)
PP 5396
Blaincpain (any except the sports ones)

I quite like that watch, and I also think the price is about right.

The only reason I wouldn't buy it is the later models have the sapphire crystal in the back of the case which allows you to see the movement.

I prefer this to the engraving on this back of the case of this model.

I also think in a few years time, this will be a distinguishing feature which some people will prefer to seek out.

Agree... The sapphire glass makes the watch more interesting.. Have you considered a new diver?? Looks great..

The PP 5396 is a very different watch in comparison to the ROO, but similarly stunning! What is your current collection lacking? wink Do you need another dress watch with multiple complications, or a chrono diver? Have you seen some of the offerings from the third manufacturer in the holy trinity, Vacheron Constantin?
