Hi,

Looking at buying this watch - can see it from Amazon US for about £140, but can anyone help with ideas what the import duty and tax is on a watch from the US ...or failing that any stockists in the UK ?

Duty is 4.5% of the customs value, with a minimum of 0.3 euro and a max of 0.8 euro, so will be 0.8 euro in this case.

VAT will be 20% of the total including shipping and insurance.

Also expect to be charged a handling fee by whoever delivers it for clearing customs on your behalf - varies by carrier but RM is £8.

Of course, not all packages get picked up for duty and it may just turn up for free but expect to be paying around £5 - £40 on top (mostly VAT, then handling fee, actual duty is negligible) and you'll be close.
