Got a nice 4 watch winder fo Christmas from the missus, can go either way or interchange

Currently set to go one way, think it's 3 mins on 28 off

Panerai, IWC and Rolex all fine, seiko dead - what am I doing wrong?

Not familiar with your watch, though know that some movements can only be wound in one direction. (Miyota for example)

I find my Orange Monster has a much weaker power reserve than my other watches - perhaps just needs more winding.

useful link thanks, although my model (1st gen orange monster SKX7) is listed as being bi-directional so doesn't explain my issues

going to wear it for a bit to give it some energy and then try again

I wonder if it's rotating too slowly, or too close to horizontal, so the winding rotor in the the Seiko is not actually moving?
