Won't be long before they're caught with those clear images.

Wonder if it's a simple robbery or something else.

Horrible b***ards. At last some crime footage from CCTV that's actually pretty clear. I don't think it will be long before they get identified and hopefully end up getting a choke hold in the showers in prison.

Horrific. Thank goodness for the good quality CCTV, won't be long.

Don't think they'll get much of a sentence though, sadly.

Feel for the bloke but wouldn't it be one in the foot for the robbers if it was a fake....

I'm not a ninja/ex sas/black belt, but I would of put up more of a fight.

With a username like yours it might be a bit embarrassing if you didn't wink Seriously though, stating that you'd put up a better fight than he did is easy to say - the guy looked to be in a very firm, and choking, headlock. That's not going to be easy to fight your way out of.

With the quality of the recording they'll nail them, the victim deserves it to be.

Jeez/. How much of thick bottom-feeding low-life do you have to be to even come up with the cunning plan to assault someone in broad daylight and risk a couple of years inside for a relatively uncommon Rolex which you don't even know is not fake and which is easy to trace through its serial number.

Hope they throw an attempted murder charge at them.

Local to me, I've even been there to hire a van a few times.

Victim well known in the area for being a little shady as well as having a significant drug/alcohol dependency - still no excuse I know

That's interesting. Very interesting.

He's already set up a crowd funding / just giving website to raise the funds to replace his beloved genuine 15k but seemingly uninsured timepiece.

Sounds legit.

Oh. He drives an Aston as well.

Why the feck does he think that the general public should chip in to help replace this watch. If he didn't have it insured then he should just suck up the loss and maybe next time be more proactive about making sure high value items are covered. I feel for him being mugged as it must have been terrible, but it's a bit cheeky to ask for money to replace it.

Yep, didn't mention it before and now see it's been added to the article.

By Aston it's an older V8V/DB9 and had a horrendous orange wrap last time I saw it

What a strange article.

27 years old, 7 kids, 15k Rolex, Aston martin, life has been hard for him? confused

Also, saying ''I have an Aston Martin as well and I wanted to pass the watch down to my kids. I will never be able to afford another one.'' Why mention the car at all?

All very odd, I suspect it was more of a collection of money owed than an actual robbery.
