Got to be this, comes mid size also available in Kinetic rather than auto. I wouldn't shy away from automatics though, once you've got them on that slippery slope the only way is down UP !
I Have bought my 11 old boy two automatics, once they understand the basics, what they do, how they breath, then they know how to treat them and bring them back to life.

I think MID size is 36-37mm across the bezel, small enough for a boys wrist.
That's nice. It would be better if it was either quartz or had no date function. Why? Because he will only wear it at weekends and he'll need to set it every week.I Have bought my 11 old boy two automatics, once they understand the basics, what they do, how they breath, then they know how to treat them and bring them back to life.
