Discussion
Walked into AD yesterday to order 'the Jesus watch' and was quoted a 1 year lead time as all sold in the UK, anyone here know any better/different ?
Release date on some pages says 'August 2016'.

Novelty factor aside, the tourbillon complication in wristwatches is a redundant one, which you’re paying a hefty premium for – even on the TAG Heuer.
Personally, and as like pretty much every TH model, the residual value will plummet like a stone (under a lead anvil), so I would advise against it, since there are so many other much nicer watches for that price and less.

It's not that PH is anti Tag. It's because Tag are genuinely overpriced and S total rip. Ask a watchmaker if he honestly thinks they are worth even half the value.
I had an F1 up until recently and it was crap. Durable and reliable yes. The movement was a cheap s
t quartz worth no more than a few quid. It was a £1000+ watch in the shops. No value in the case either. Even the automatic watches are built to a budget.
Save your money and buy an Omega.

Mosts Tag's are s
t, however, the top models like the mikrograph, v4, and to be fair this tourbillion in its own way really push the boundaries. As for value form me they are all getting to the point price wise where you either want to go tudor, rolex or scondhand as i just dont see the value in a £6000+ planet ocean etc but that is a different thread.

I posted here as I thought there would be knowledgeable people who knew about this watch in particular, I don't need hand holding on watch brands.
Please look at the watch before posting nonsense.
This is the first chance I (and others) have of being able to afford a Swiss made COSC Tourbillon that I like the look of. Yes it looks like it has been designed by a certain other swiss watch company but I do not mind it at all. There must be many others in the same boat as the little blighter has sold out.
It might wear too big on wrist so i was posting to see if what I have been told by AD is correct.
For the record I have a rolex, chopard and a nardin.
P.S - Yes we know Archieluxury is a loon who will probably throw himself of a bridge at some stage, I hope he does not as he provides great comedy value.

The boy is an idiot, but a funny one! hahaI like tag watches and have a good relationship with the brand from years back so i certainly dont buy into the rubbish spouted on here by some, yes they sell watches that are quartz at an insane price ( i have two of these myself) but why do they get a bad press for this when Omega Breitling et al do the same?
As for the tourbillion movement if im honest it leaves me cold as it fixes an issue which just doesnt exist in a wrist watch i would much prefer a minute repeater if were looking at frivolous complications. But i do understand and "get" the achievement made both by the engineering in the complication and the price point it is being presented at.
And yes i do know you can get cheap chinese tourbillions but these are not cosc movements.
