I'm looking for ideas for watches that are 44mm+.

I really like the below two, have tried both on and they suit my wrist well.

Any ideas, with a budget of up to c.£1.5k?

IWC Ingenieur (45.5mm)

Rolex Deepsea (44mm)

Simplest thing you can do is head over to Chrono24 and filter the watches by price and size, and movement, and see what takes your fancy from what’s left.

That looks really smart, as does the GMT that they produce - both Rolex homages obviously.

How is this brand perceived, a 'knock-off' Rolex or good watches within their own right?

I've got a Steinhart Flieger style thing that I never wear because it's too bloody thick. Apart from that it's really nicely finished and feels like a quality watch. Can't give you any real life experiences of their dive watches but I'd imagine similar high quality.

I presume you're asking for suggestions that are a bit like the deepsea, being as it blows your budget a bit...

How about an Oris?

I have the pro diver which is 51mm and £2750 new but they do some very nice ones around the size and price you are looking for.

Another brand to look at is Hamilton.

He's my oversize B&R 01 GMT and U-Boat Night Vision with a Seiko . Anything below 42mm now feels too small for me .
