Who would we recommend? After years of deliberation, I am ready to push the button on a 15202 Jumbo.

Two cheapest showing on C24…

The former, for the price mentioned, will have been serviced by AP or their accredited SC for the Nordic region, which means there’s still 14 months of service warranty remaining.
Lack of box can be easily overcome by paying APSC in London £300.
Polishing (correctly) is often best left to AP themselves, so the latter would be a slight concern, from reading the description – but given the £1K price difference, never mind lack of official servicing/warranty, it wouldn’t even be entertained.

At those prices I would buy a new one.
You can get a new one for about that from an imported dealer.

Thanks both. There is a real range of pricing on chrono24.

Which import dealers should I contact to get a new one at these prices?

cheap easyjet flight to Geneva airport to buy a new one? call them in advance and negotiate a price and check they have the right model. New sales worldwide of almost all watches are down 25%, so you might even get a little discount on top of saving the 8% swiss duty

Have the box and papers sent to your home address, and wear the watch home through the nothing to declare channel!

They are relatively rare things to buy used, so maybe new is a viable choice?

I'm in the same boat, where did you end up going?

Congratulations by the way

Thanks all.

I actually bought it from Watchfinder in the end. I wasn't able to see it in the flesh but their brand gave me some confidence. The service was flawless and it arrived next day. I could probably have paid a few hundred quid less but the watch is perfect and peace of mind was more important to me than the best possible deal.
