Wearing a watch & an activity tracker?

Up to you, but I think you'll look a little daft wearing two watches even on separate wrists.
Problem is that the Surge is more watch like than other fitbit bands you can get.
That's my concern. I could have had my wife's charge but it lacked pulse & GPS.Problem is that the Surge is more watch like than other fitbit bands you can get.
Will be used to monitor walking in the main + a bit of cycling when my back allows
Until last week I wore a Fitbit Charge 2 on my right wrist and a watch on my left, they have both been replaced by a Samsung Galaxy Gear S3.
The problem with the Surge is, it is watch sized, whereas a Charge 2 is quite a bit slimmer, so less obvious and it looks like a tracker, whereas wearing a Surge and a watch makes you look like you wear 2 watches; wearing 2 watches is a bit weird.

I wear my watch on my rightwrist and Fitbit Charge on my left. I only looked at trackers which were slim as I don't want to wear a watch sized device on my left hand. The Charge HR does everything i need it to and tucks out the way, but is slim enough not to look out of place against my watch on my right wrist.

My mate wears Charge HR on one wrist and a normal gents watch on the other and it looks fine as the Charge doesn't really look like a watch, just a rubber band.
My brother bought Fitbit surge recently and wears only that and nothing else on his wrists.
Worth noting that aside from pulse rate tracking, the fitbit will work just as well stuck in your pocket as on your wrist....so times when you particularly want to wear a posh watch; or don't want the 2-watch thing, you could do that without losing those all important steps!
im kinda gutted i haven't had one since i was really young - only had my fitbit for 8 months and already walked the length of India which seems mental. would LOVE to know my lifetime numbers

I understand the challenge! I have a garmin that I want to track steps etc with, but like to wear a classy watch to work! I'm tempted to et a leather strap for the garmin to tidy it up a bit? maybe wear it on my ankle (fit in with the Huddersfield locals wearing a tracker on my ankle!). Why can't i get a fitness tracker that looks like a decent watch (in my budget)?
I wear either a JLC Master Geographic or a Daytona on my left and a black Apple Watch with black strap on my right. Purposely chose the least watch and bling like Apple Watch. I've been doing this for about 18 months. I get an equal number of questions vs piss takes at work. When I show people Apple Pay they get it a bit more. Friends are used to it now and only occasionally mention it for banter.
Been wearing a Garmin Vivosmart on my right wrist for over a year, and a Tudor / Omega / Breitling / Heuer on my left.
No one has ever commented at work, as it sits under my shirt cuff. Only time anyone ever commented was during the summer when wearing a T-shirt. That said, I leave it showing activity, rather than the time.

This is indeed a dilemma..I have a large collection of watches, got an apple watch about 2 years ago now, and really the large collection of watches has stayed in the safe... the odd night out has seen a watch worn but generally its all the apple watch, got so used to its functionality etc.
then you need to be careful when you convert to a fitness/step tracker watch. Problem is the apple health app does all these stats, avg daily steps/avg active calorie burn etc, so you find that you wear it all the time, as get paranoid about lowering your monthly/annual averages etc!!..sad but true
maybe its just me but I have worn two watches on occasion , but always want one covered up by a sleeve, I feel daft wearing 2, just looks silly...so I have become a slave to the apple step counter & to be honest amuse myself by swapping straps about on it/changing the faces regularly etc....sometimes I wonder If I am on the verge of just saying 'sod it' and chucking it in a drawer & going back to my posh watches, but I just cannot bring myself to do it...year 3 coming up !!

Thanks for all the responses. I suspect this will rapidly become the norm.
I think I like my nice watches too much not to rotate them & leave them in the safe so I'll try the both wrists occupied for a while to see how I get on.
I've gone for the Black version:-
