Random Purchase - Heuer Trackstar Stopwatch

Picked this up from fleabay a few days ago:













Can anyone shed any light on it's age/type?

On the back of the stopwatch, there is a sticker. The reference printed om it is '608 313'.

On the box, it says '2083' '0485'.



I have no real use for it apart from adding it to the already long list of things I wanted but have no use for! Thought I'd take a punt at £40.

The sticker and design of the stopwatch are similar to those made in 1974.

Considering how oversized some watches are today you could probably get away with putting a strap on it and wearing it on your wrist!

Thanks for the feedback chaps. h0b0 - Thanks for letting me know the age of the piece.

Would like to get the back off and see the innards, but the back is very tightly sealed to the case and there are no ridges to get a tool in for prising it off.

Don't really fancy using the Clarkson method of a hammer.
