I have one, UK watch -only about 2 months old- still in box, never worn, fully stickered up with original purchase receipt etc-

Anyone know what dealers are paying for these at the moment? Should I just keep hold of it for now?

I wear another watch daily, I don't really need the GMT

Probably won't need a watch in 2107, so the present value of £6300 in 2107 is probably about right hehe

Its going to get to the point where everyone's going to offload there 2 month old Batman's and flood the market , and bring them back down to a sensible price.

I guess they must be controlling what they put on the site to keep the price up/stable, they have over 1000 Rolex on the site I wonder how many they actually have!

I think I've said it before somewhere on here but I think this is a lot of the problem with the Rolex market, most people that get on the waiting list for say a Daytona or Batman ect flip them and the people that really want one can't afford them as a result of profiteering?

I'm quite (read very) bitter about this fact...but what can you do? People flipping Daytonas should be tazed until they poop themselves, and then tazed some more.

So you get a new Daytona from an AD for about 9 grand if you are lucky and can sell it to a dealer for an instant profit of over 4 grand......who wouldn't be tempted?

I wouldn't be, (at least not with the first one). If I were able to get hold of more than one I would flip any additional ones for sure though.

Hosedoctor, while getting BLNR's is pretty easy I AM curious how you've managed to get hold of 2 Ceramic Daytonas at Retail from Rolex, were you on a lot of lists and have just collected when they've called?

Bravo sir! (although I would still taze you for flipping them when I can't even get one!).
