New / nearly new 5711 / 5712's available from stock have been over list for years now.

Circa 4 years wait for a 5711 with many AD's not even taking more names on their waiting lists.

The 5711 is probably atop my lottery-win list for watches, I like the slightly subtle style and anonymity among those who aren't up on watches - but I'll be damned if I'm paying that much for one! Shirley there's an engineered supply/demand disparity occurring?
