1971 Omega Genève
Discussion
My friend's late spouse's estate includes a collection of wristwatches and I'm tasked with finding out how to go about obtaining valuations of them. Whilst most appear fairly generic and could probably be taken to any jeweller, one in particular appears to be quite collectible and would warrant more specialist attention.
It's a 1971 Omega Genève with leather strap in its original red box (within a white outer box). It has a certificate of ownership which would lead me to believe the case is 9-carat gold plate, it's engraved on the back (as it was a long-service award), it has an international guarantee document and it appears to be unused.
So, if anyone can point me in the direction of a reputable specialist I can contact about it, I would be obliged.

Like most forums, we are not supposed to give valuations.
That said, send me a PM with a link to some nice clear images and I'll give you a reasonable idea of what it's worth. I collect late 60's and early 70's watches, so this is my era.
Also happy to confirm that the other watches are not significant. Just send a list of manufacturer names.

Thank you Mike. Yes, that's why I didn't ask for valuations, just to be pointed in the direction of a specialist. I'll take some photos and send them to you privately. That said, send me a PM with a link to some nice clear images and I'll give you a reasonable idea of what it's worth. Chrono24 is always my first port of call for a 'rough' valuation (though you'll have to exclude a dealer margin on what you would be offered.)
You can filter on year and model:

Don't know what watch it is but probably in there somewhere.
