Bollix, that is all.

I need to have an operation on my left hand for dialysis and need to start wearing my watch on the "other" hand - Dr does not compute how bad this is, so i need a new right handed watch first thoughts were a Panerai, what else am I missing to treat myself too.

I simply cannot bring myself to wear a left handed watch on the right.

Budget is up to £10k i guess as I'm already looking in that range.

I've seen a few Zenith watches to wear on your right wrist over the years. The El Primo Pilot range has/had a few, example below:

May not be to your taste though.

I know Panerai do some Lefties, but I have a R/H Luminor Marina worn on the left and kind of miss not seeing the detail of the chunky crown. Think it would be nice to see that every time I look at the watch.

Can someone explain to me what the big issue is about wearing one on your right arm? don't most people just wear a watch on their non-dominant hand as it's not in the way when doing things such as writing. it's only a wana be thug/gangsta who wears it on their dominant to show off.

The Pelagos LHD is bette looking than the regular one!

I wear my watches on my right wrist and I'm right handed, I like that the crown is facing up my arm, not towards the back of my hand as well as the fact a watch on my left wrist seems to drive me a bit claustro!

On all of my watches, the crown is on the right, and I wear on my right wrist and am right handed. It isn't like I wind with it still on my wrist...

Me too

I showed a friend the Pelagos LHD, he wears his watch on his left wrist, he said that he wouldn't be able to set the time and wind while wearing it, right........ ok!

Does ANYONE do that?

There always the pocket watch: This tasteful Patek Philippe is smaller than quite a few modern wrist watches: http://www.chrono24.co.uk/patekphilippe/pocket-wat...

Another alternative would be a Vacheron Constantin's Historique TopWind, a dress watch where the crown is at 12 o'clock.

I'm sure you'll get used to the other side!

As a kid I found it easier to fasten up a watch on my right wrist with my left hand, even though I'm right handed. To this day I still wear on my dominant right. As a previous post has said, it doesn't get adjusted whilst on the wrist. The only other issue is the increased risk of damage, with the wrist its on being busier with practical stuff, nothing a bit of care can't cancel out - if my arm is going down the back of an engine block, the watch comes off first!

I've always worn my watch on my right hand, it just feels better for me somehow.

Have bought a couple of things from these guys, good to deal with. Have some very keen pricing on Graham at the moment.

Just sounds like an excuse to the wife to justify buying another expensive watch!
