Watch for Dad's 75th

The old man will be 75 in December and I'm thinking about buying him a new watch.

He's got an Omega Speedmaster which he currently wears as a daily (60th present from mum).

Looking for ideas for something as an alternative, bit more formal, probably on a leather strap. Budget will be £500 max and I'm happy to look at new and used options.

Thought where better to start for some ideas than here.

At that price point, new, I'd be looking at a Seiko Presage (Cocktail time):
Not the most prestigious name but I think the quality will be hard to beat. Again, if you are looking new.

Why wouldn't he keep wearing the Speedmaster? Maybe get that a service and something else alongside it?
