Anyone got one?
I think they look fantastic; very understated compared to the Breitling norm (which is a good thing in my opinion).

I understand they recently upgraded the mechanism to an in-house in 2017, however, I can't find much information about it.
I'm interested in the Heritage 42mm with a black face as per below:

Can anyone confirm what the difference is between the "new" and "old" models please?
I've been offered a fantastic deal on the old model, but brand new, warranty etc and think it would make a nice addition.
Any alternative options?

Cheers

interested in this watch myself, would like it with a dark brown leather strap, but not sure breitling do this option? Can't see one online.

this will probably be the one and only expensive watch I'll get so want it to be 'the one'.

Tried one of these on a few weeks ago, I really quiet like them. The new one has a ceramic bezel and a different movement (B20) which has a longer power reserve 70 hours V 42 hours. There is quiet a bit of information on the Breitling web site and the configurator does show 3 different brown straps available.

I have one of these on my shortlist as my 'daily' to give the Panerai a rest - Theres one on WF with a blue face that I like the look of, but the strap isn't my kind of thing, and would probably change it.

Ive owned and worn a blue on mesh 2007 model. I like it, but it hasnt been plain sailing.
I have had a new case for it (crown tube screw in was stripped) a new crown (wouldnt screw down) and a new bezel insert (it had 1 scratch on itt and like my stuff without scratches).
It has kept time well, and the power reseve is adequate.
Also I fing the crown digs into my wrist, but I have other watches so I Change when it starts to damage my Skin.

I love the Color of the blue- i smile every time i see it.
I think the new 2017 model has a ceramic bezel and Looks even better!

ah yes, see the configurator now (was on my phone before). without trying it on, I think i'd like black case, black dial and black leather strap (standard buckle)

It's saying rrp £3320 on the Breitling website, or £2755 on swiss watches direct (17% saving, using debit card).

Is there much movement in price buying from an authorised dealer? Id rather go to a shop and buy it.

I have usually got around 10 to 15% from an authorised dealer the Swiss watches direct price looks good. On the Breitling web site in Belgium/Holland it give a price of 3910 Euros for the spec you quote so still a better price in the UK.

Interesting, that’ll do. I imagine buying a watch from a fancy shop is a good experience, in comparison to getting the watch in the post.

Looks nice here in this config

Have you spoken with Dom Hackett? Definitely worth a call.

It's a 46. Just on the right side of big, if you know what I mean.

That's a lovely watch cloud9

I didn't know they had gone in-house with their movements.

Cheers for the replies, definitely tempting and the ones you have look fantastic on the wrist.
Have reached out to Dom, but I can get a new one from a highstreet jewellers for £2.2k....!
They have a 42 and 44mm, think the 44 is 2.6k.

Bit of a bargain if you ask me, but with the rubber strap. However, is it worth spending a bit more and getting the new model year which has an inhouse mechanism, as opposed to a modified ETA?
