...was this Rado original diver.

I had almost forgotten about it.

Tungsten carbide, semi-articulated lugs, internal bezel, 300m water resistance...

Got it at a bargain price 4/5 years ago. Going to wear it all week!

Not big enough due to my watch habit.....bit of a worry!

It was tucked in behind some paperwork.

Yes, its very retro-futuristic!

Comfy as the lugs can move up and down a bit, as well as the strap articulating where it is fixed the the lugs...great idea that.

Might have to check out some more modern Rados - see what they are up to these days...

Any on there?

I recall they did some different faces - one of which was a really nice blue.

It’s inspired me to pull out some watches I haven’t worn for a while - going to get them back on the wrist.

Next week oi will be mostly wearing a Cuervos Y Sobrinos Robusto Buceador!

Downside - like a lot of Oris as well - is the proprietary straps. Bit of a pain as I like trying different straps on different watches...

Also, lume is rubbish.

Otherwise - all good!

Two seahorses on the reverse.

Not as far back as the Rado but I still haven’t worn it this year.

Will be wearing it all week.

I really like that Robusto Buceador. The dome crystals are lovely.

Thanks!

It’s an interesting piece, I think.

I particularly like the little orange enamel cap on the crown that adjust time and date. Done to differentiate it from the crown that adjusts the internal bezel. Nice touch.

Question is what to wear next week.....
