I know PH is the source of all wisdom, so where better place to as I have haven't a clue what I'm doing!
I'm in the process of having an engagement ring done, and am after some advice as to what I should be paying. I have three diamonds already, family heirlooms, that need to be set into a ring.
Basically, what should I be charged, roughly? My options are white gold or platinum, and I don't have a budget as such, as I don't know what this sort of thing costs! I've an appointment with a family recommended jeweler on Wednesday, so want to go in with some knowledge of what a reasonable amount is.
Any help is much appreciated, it's new territory for me!
