Sorry to be a lazy arse! Can you recommend a trusted online second hand watch dealer please.
Looking to spend around 1k for my partners xmas prezzie. She has terrible eyesight and struggles to see the hands on her watch. so thinking about getting her a larger gents divers style.

There are plenty out there: watches.co.uk; Watchfinder; Blowers Jewellers; Chronomaster; Austin Kaye; Chrono24.co.uk
I've bought from all except Blowers.
For your budget, there are plenty of decent quality new watches out there: Longines HydroConquest; Oris Divers; Seiko etc.
As well as diver style, another style to consider could be a pilot's watch with bold Arabic numerals.
ETA - a pre-owned Bell & Ross BRS or BR03 might fit the bill and be in budget
