Creation: small heads-up

Ordered another watch from Creation this week, usual good price and quick delivery, HOWEVER…..they now use DHL "exclusively" for all deliveries, and apparently that pretty much guarantees the addition of VAT and DHL's surcharge. Now obviously I'm as honest as the day is long and therefore more than happy to pay the charges, but I do know of people who have bought 3 or 4 watches from Creation in the past and never had to pay anything. So bear in mind, it's VAT at 20% of the purchase price, plus DHL's surcharge, which spookily, in my case was exactly the right amount to round it up to a whole number.

Annoyingly the same watch was on sale over here for £25 more than Creation, so I went with them, but ended up paying an extra £30.

Are you sure? I just went on to the site & there were still three shipping options including Royal Mail with no additional taxes. There no box, although I have heard these can be purchased as well.

Ah - my mistake, sorry. I think I read somewhere else about the "DHL only" option, not on their own website. I guess I preferred the box and the "free" delivery - which turned out to be anything but!
