I would really like a Sinn 856/857 UTC but am interested in other alternatives below £1000. I don't want a quartz and would prefer to buy new. I'd consider both diver and pilot styles.

Christopher Ward is an option.

What other brands might I consider? I'd presumed there would be a number of ETA powered alternatives but can't seem to find that much.

Thanks

Yes, Chris Ward are excellent. You may also want to look at Hamilton Khaki.

Thumbs up for the Steinhart Ocean 1 GMT, I went with the Pepsi but there's a few different flavours.

Looks good, feels solid, and decent value <£500.

I picked up a new Glycine Airman from Massdrop for around £600. They have them fairly often so worth keeping on eye out.

The only watch I've regretted selling was my Hamilton Navy GMT. They come up used on ebay and I've been sorely tempted to buy another:

Hamilton is a good shout. They have a number of GMT watches in different styles.

What about Longines Conquest GMT?

Another vote over here for Christopher Ward. I have two of their watches, both of which I love. cloud9

The next time I have any spare cash, it'll be going on another CHR Ward watch. thumbup

I'd ask some questions as remarkably cheap but reads as new & seller has several watches for sale
