Been looking for this watch at the right price for a while now. I had read great things about the Bulova Precisionist, so I decided to have a look around. I decided on a model I liked, did some reading, and then started to have a look around. Lot's of new ones at a price I didn't want to pay, lot's of overpriced ones that had been well worn, and some good used ones with a big price tag. I eventually found this one. Eight months old, worn twice, and pristine. Knocked the seller down to £170, and it arrived as promised in the condition as described. It's a big beast coming in at 46mm, and weighing about 230 grams. That said, I really can't believe how comfortable it is. The watch absolutely oozes quality, and the finish is something to behold. Although I know us enthusiasts don't care that much about time keeping, this watch claims to be the most accurate non atomic watch in the world (+/- 9 sec per year), and what's more the second hand sweeps like a quality auto. Sports/diver design, 300m WR and it in my opinion looks fantastic. Only criticism is that a watch with an MRP of about £500 should have sapphire, not scratch resistant mineral. Anyway, here she is

I'm a huge fan of the Bulova range and have an automatic and Precisionist.
The sweep of the second hand of the precisionist is eerily smooth.
The only downside to the precisionist is battery life is shorter than a normal quartz watch - mine lasted about 2 years whereas I normally get 3 years from other quartz watches.

I'm very tempted to get myself the Bulova Moonwatch at some point,,,,

Those four screws look to stop the bezel rotating. If this is the case why is it beveled and have markers implying that it should move. Just seems a bit odd to me!

It's not his photo - I think he's trolling.

It's marketed as a sports watch, not a divers watch, even though it is 300m WR

That’s exactly what I thought. He serrated bezel edge is for gripping it while you rotate it but it doesn’t move? Are the screws even real?

Even so, why have a bezel marked out one interval for the first 15 mins if it doesn't move?

To make it look sporty and have loads of functions.

It's metre in the UK & everywhere else, meter in USA. But: (according to the internet) Here’s the tricky part: For any type of device (i.e., an actual machine or gadget) designed to measure time, distance, speed, or intensity or to regulate current, meter is the preferred spelling everywhere.

How weird is that!

They are different words.

One is a device for measuring something the other is a unit of length.

That's because a "meter" is something that measures something. Eg electricity meter, pedometer, thermometer. If you had a tape measure marked out in metres, you could call it a metremeter, unless you're American, in which case it would be called ... a big fk off yard stick.
