Rolex Dial Change & Service?

Couple of questions around a Datejust please.

Some years back I had the dial swapped through one of the better known watch dealers off here simply due to fancying a different colour dial.

I'm curious around the cost of having the dial swapped again, and also curious if it will matter should I ever send it off for an official Rolex service - and if anyone knows the current cost of a service please?

As long as the dial you swap to was/is available for that reference then Rolex will service as normal. If it isn't, they wont service it without swapping it back to an option available for that reference. I think a stainless steel Datejust service will about £500 at Rolex service centre.

Was quoted £800 by a Rolex / Dick Turpin Service Centre.They will not do any repairs without doing a full service.
At least I get a gallon of oil & filter thrown in when the Beamer gets a £400 check over
