What are people’s thoughts on this? Bit gaudy or modern interpretation of a classic (as favoured by Clint Eastwood)?

I was in my AD today and, whilst I’m already on the list for the Pepsi, the bi-metal root beer does also look of interest. AD reckons that whilst he also has a waiting list for these I may see one before the end of the year (vs who knows when for the Pepsi).

I think that would look good on a black person. Not so much on a pale wrist.

It’s different.

I want to like it, but just can’t begin to.

Looks great, can't wait for Parnis to make something similar

I think it looks fantastic but I hate the bracelet...would like to see it on a black strap like the Everose Yachtmaster.

I actually think it would look better on a steel jubilee bracelet like the new Pepsi, which conversely I would have preferred on a brushed oyster bracelet...

Why do you suppose they’ve done it? For exactly the same reason they launched the gold one first. They will launch it with an oyster bracelet, once they’ve sold a few of these first. Why have one bite of the cherry?

Those scratch magnet polished gold centre links are going to look like brushed gold after a few months.

Surely, the head of product marketing at Rolex must be the easiest job in the world.

Looks good and I can see the appeal but it's too colourful for me and plenty others would be in my want list before that one!

I like a good bronze/brown watch, but this...
And is it me or is the "root beer" moniker just a bit forced?
Red and Blue pepsi, black and red coke, maybe even black and blue batman (or Rihanna), but Root Beer ...

Nope for me. But it'll sell by the thousands.

Really interesting to see the hands on pictures, it looks a million times better than the official Rolex shots. I really like it, perhaps more than the Pepsi in fact.
