I thought it looked a bit 'cheap' for an all gold watch. What do we think? Anything he should look for?

Joseph Welch sells a lot of Rolex. There is nothing of issue there.

I would say that watch is priced just right to be honest. For a watch with box and no papers.

That particular watch either hasn't been cleaned or has a hole in the top right lug. The link screw shouldn't protrude like that and it looks to have had a fair bit of polishing over its life. Some things to consider when comparing prices with others.
