Advice please! Seamaster /breitling colt or aerospace??
Discussion
Yeah i would go for the seamaster too. been told the Aerospace is quite unreliable and parts very expensive. I nearly bought one for £600 which was a bargain but really it was just to have a Brietling in the collection, I did not really like it. As for the Colt don't forget some are quartz (would not bother me, if at the right price!) nice looking watch though.
The seamaster is king for me, think you might struggle to get one for that price though as they are climbing all the time.
Happy hunting.

I've got a seamaster and a colt. I'd assume your probably looking at midsize seamaster?
I have the chronograph automatic seamaster. It's a fairly big watch. Nicely made body lovely wavy dial face, but the auto movement hasn't been the most reliable tbh. I also have the colt auto. It's small watch, fussier than the seamaster with the chrome centre to the strap and much lighter. The dial is also gorgeous in a cream finish and it feels like a really nice watch. It isn't in any way as solid feeling as the seamaster but it's a smaller lighter watch. Compared to a mid size seamaster quartz it would probably feel much the same. An old mate had a colt quartz since his 18th birthday and wore it pretty much every day and abused it and it took it well.
Both watches come with nice boxes. The breitling presentation is probably a little bit more special.
I'd suggest just buy whichever you like best or whichever you can get the best example of for budget. My colt was much cheaper than my seamaster, I think I paid about £11-1300 for the colt used but unworn, the seamaster also used but unworn was a 21st present many years ago and that was over 2k.
