Need to get a Rolex Sub repaired as cost effectively as possible after an encounter with a toddler :/

I know there’s a couple of people on here that have been previously recommended?

Ouch!

Darius has a Rolex specialist at the Clock Gallery in Ealing.

Just so you have it for your reference I had my glass and bezel replaced along with a service from Rolex directly for ~£700. This was after an altercation with a bicycle and a pothole!

Rolex are wanting to replace dial, hands and bezel insert also at another £800, service and glass are £715.

Ideally just wanting the glass and maybe the bezel insert replaced and take a chance on it.

Send it to Variomatic on here (Joe).

Also make sure that the watch is stopped, you don't want bits of glass entering the movement.

Hopefully hands etc should be fine.

Where is Variomatic going to get a replacement original Rolex glass from? I thought they only provide parts if they repair the watch.

Personally I would just get it done. It is a £ +5k watch so £1,500 is not big shakes. Can you not claim on the house insurance (it would have to be a specified item I think) ?

Having recently had a repair and bezel change I am sure some of the items are done at you discretion and I think that you can just say no to some of the additional items.
