What's the opinion on watch case protectors?
Discussion
Well, the thread got delete by a moderator as I suspect the Stevie Wonder joke was a bit too far.
From recollection it was a close call, with many people loving my home made case protector, but slightly more thinking it was sort of ok but not for them.
I've glued some eyes onto it and left it outside one of the kids bedrooms to see how they react this morning. Will get a report from my wife no doubt as my daughter can have the odd sense of humour failure and as I don't fancy being around I'm off to work.
Personally though, I really can't see why anyone would possibly like them.

Surely you're trolling now? I can't recall one person saying they liked it and presumably the thread was deleted as it was deemed to be advertising. Which to be honest, I don't think it was advertising as such, more market research from your company.
However, PH does have it's advertising moderation policy and seeing as most of the posts I recall from yourself are pictures of your own company's product, they maybe do have a point.
It would be a shame to lose you through over-zealous moderation as it's a great insight for the watch forum to have a small time manufacturer within it's ranks so maybe just be a bit more careful about how you post?

Point taken and shall refrain from mentioning any particular make of watchI can't recall one person saying they liked it and presumably the thread was deleted as it was deemed to be advertising. Which to be honest, I don't think it was advertising as such, more market research from your company.

Bit like a cravat or monocle old boy - most will find them hideous and/or couldn't wear one - a rakish few get away with it - I knew an Aussie in the army that always wore one, shine and all that, suited him down to the ground On me it'd look like I was trying too hard, plus you have to use two hands to tell the time.

I feel a new thread coming on; 'watches that you need two hands to tell the time with'.Any of the early light up digitals (that were the most brilliant thing to a 10 year old back then)
Any smart phones (that are the most brilliant thing to a 10 year old these days)
I would add any of the current smart watches, but I got corrected on that a while back as apparently they run on voodoo and know when you're looking at them.
Off topic, but did you know that smart vacuum cleaners upload room maps of your house to the cloud. One manufacturer tried to sell the maps to google so they'd go on google maps, but google declined. I expect smart fridges upload the time you open them in the morning to find some milk for a cup of tea, and the time you open them in the evening to cook something when you get home. Map of you're house and the times you're out, simples.
