Rolex Pro Hunter

Does anyone have any experience of Pro Hunter? I’m not normally a fan of customisations but their Daytona’s caught my eye.

I've got a ProHunter DSSD that I inherited from my Uncle a few years back - very special considering the circumstances and being rarer.

Pretty impressed with the DLC, very robust, fit and finish good, you wouldn't really know it's been stripped right down and reassembled.

Afraid I've not had it serviced - and he bought it 2nd hand so I haven't got any experience of Pro-Hunter I'm afraid. Dread to think what would happen if you just posted it to Rolex

Rolex won’t touch them. It a non OEM modified watch.

The new Pro Hunters aren’t even covered by Rolex.

I’ve never understood the idea of buying a modified watch way over RRP that the manufacturer won’t service

Not so dissimilar to modifying a car, surely?

Not my cup of tea, but can see why people do it.

Not really, change your alloys you can still get a main dealer service. Change anything minor or just cosmetic Rolex have a fit about it
