Seems I'm still in for a long wait at my local AD and I'm not prepared to pay over the odds second hand/nearly new/trader etc.

Will be passing through Switzerland in a few weeks time - any chance of picking one up over there?

I’ve just got back from Switzerland (Lucerne and Geneva) and did not see a single SS sports Rolex in the many stores I went in!

Not sure your chances there are any better than here tbh.

Unfortunately still a difficult piece to get hold of.
Mines in its box with stickers still, undecided if it’s a keeper/women is forcing me to sell one of my collection to make way and I just can’t choose one to go so it might not be staying.
