Watch winder recommendations please

I would like to buy a watch winder - I have a vintage seadweller which doesn't have a quick set date, so when I wear it the date is either wrong, or takes an age to get set right.

Can anybody recommend a near silent winder which won't burn the house down... definitely at the lower end of the price range and preferably for 2 or 3 watches? Loads of choice on Amazon, but I'm guessing the quality will vary somewhat.

Can't fault it at all, except that is was about £60 then. Does the job, is virtually silent and looks good. Pleased to recommend.

I will go away now before the hot heads, who think winders are the devils creation, appear.

I think it was £75. Various modes. Not bad build quality and pretty much silent. It also doesn't look too 'old man'.

Resurrecting an old thread but pat on the back for me as I managed to use the search function properly.

I am looking for a 3 watch winder if possible as I now have a (my old one I'm getting back) Panerai, Omega and Rolex - 2 may work for me as it's likely I'll be wearing one at all times, however who knows when I might end up with another.

Any ideas? Like the look of the Amazon one above.

Don't want to spend a fortune, maybe £150 budget?

Further to this, do many people actually use a winder and find it useful or do you just take them out of the box, set them and away you go?

Part of me is quite interested in putting them all in set to the same time and see how different they are after a week.

I don't bother with winders.
I'd need a 20 watch version and to be honest don't see the point in keeping them wound all the time anyway.

Is there any benefit in keeping a watch running?

Is it better for the watch to be put away for more than a couple of weeks and then started up again or keeping it running?

If it makes no other difference than convenience I might not bother.

To be honest i don't think they are a great idea. Unless you have the winder in a locked safe!
All you are doing is god forbid your house gets turned over is putting all your watches in one convenient place for some piece of st to take!

It's all for convenience. Like another member said, I would never leave my watches in a winder, just makes it easier for the thief!

My watches stay in the safe and when I want a change, I'll just adjust and wind it up before wear.

Or put the watch winder in the safe with the watch in the winder.
That’s what I do.........
Most watch Winders work with batteries or mains power.....

If you have a few vaguely complicated watches, it can be a pain to readjust them each time you wear them, find the right tools etc.
Particularly those with calendars and moonphases
