Deployment Clasp Problem
Discussion
I have fitted a deployment clasp to the leather straps on a few of my watches . I like the idea and ease of use. The problem is that if I bend my wrist over into the full Larry Grayson position then the folded skin on my wrist pushes against the release leaver enough to undo the mechanism. I know I'm deformed but it doesn't fill me with confidence whilst wearing the watch. I have tried several different clasps and some are worse than others but they all do it. Any recommendations please.

Oops. I meant DEPLOYANT clasp!!!!! (Before someone presses the nuke button)

You can buy a virtually identical clasp which doesn't have release buttons; it simply clips in and out: https://www.cousinsuk.com/product/butterfly1
I have one of each type from Cousins and stick to the one without the buttons. I don't find it pops open on its own, just that the release buttons dig in and leave a mark on the underside of my wrist.

Thanks for that. I'll try one out. I have one of each type from Cousins and stick to the one without the buttons. I don't find it pops open on its own, just that the release buttons dig in and leave a mark on the underside of my wrist.
