I was bought a fake Breilting watch from china a few years ago (cost pennies), and loved the look, styling, etc of it with the disappointment that I would struggle to afford the real thing anytime soon! It was more for fun, then anything I would ever actually wear (the build quality of the strap is as expected...hilariously poor)

Recently my Seiko strap has let me down, and whilst I go about trying to repair it, It has got me hankering for a new watch. Budget of approx £200-300

Does anyone know of any watches which share any similarities with the below design of Breitling? Very keen on the overall look - just without the £6,600 price tag! I know I would never get anything that looks the same- but I love the styling of it overall so curious to see if anyone has that ''...that reminds me of the XYZ...' moment.

Thanks smile

Rotary do an "Aquaspeed" which is a pretty blatant copy. A quick google shows some high street places with them for well under £100.

I got one several years ago - didn't know it was a Breitling-alike at the time. This is it on ten quid's worth of strap from Amazon laugh

I wanted a Navitimer for ages, when I came across the Detomaso Firenze. I thought the look was similar, so got one to see how I would get on with it. Glad I did because the ‘want’ has gone away now smile

Certainly, the Rotary is a good shout here: https://amzn.to/2Kz9PSB

But also check out Citizens for a little bit more. Their eco-drive range is pretty cool - it looks like a normal dial but it's a solar panel. Witchcraft!

Got one of those too biggrin

Nearly 15 years old, back's never been opened, still going strong. cool I love the thing, (but it does scratch easily, as you can see).

Nice. I have a couple of Eco-Drives myself.

I can't believe how thin it is considering the tech involved.

And one of these blacked out watches.

Not a solar panel in sight!
