Evening all.

My current collection comprises (in purchase order) of the following. I love all the watches for different reasons, but the Mido is now having the least (non existent) wrist time. It was a gift, so its a keeper (although it needs some attention.

The one I have thoughts about moving on is the Black Bay Chrono. I bought this not that long ago and I do love it, but since the 58 arrived on the scene, it hasn't had a look in. This might sound a tad sad, but I like the idea of having 4 watches from completely different makers and hence this would be the Tudor to make way.

Given its value, I wouldn't replace it with anything too flash but I do like the Omega Speedmaster. I know (some) are quite similar to the BB Chrono, but I would be keen to gather peoples thoughts who may have (or had) both.

Appreciate there are quite a few Speedmasters types, so I am still learning and seeing what I would go for.

Each to thwir own!
Fave watch in that lineup is the tudor. Least fave is the tudor Q8.
No offence OP, but your wrist isn't big enough to make a massive watch look anything other than daft bling. Not a fault of the wrist., Imo it's daft watch size-itis. See anything ever from Breitling or Bentley on Arnie's wrist for reference smile

Yeah I take your point on watch to wrist size ratio. That's why I'm liking the 58 so much.

I agree the mido is huge, but it'll be kept (even if not worn). The others all feel alright on the wrist tbh.

Hi OP, whilst it's been said I've got a peculiar taste in watches smile… For my 2 pennith

Ditch the Georg Jensen, It's horrendous, those sub dials are far too close together …

A affirmative vote for a speedy if you go down that route,

Keep the Mido, as it was a gift. I'd keep both Tudors as one is a chrono and one isn't but both are diver style, then look to add a dress/statement watch into that mix, speedy on leather or go out on a limb with a RJ Titanic thumbup

Hi OP.

Seem to remember commenting on another thread of yours with these same thoughts.

I traded a BB Chrono for a Speedmaster (classic moonwatch) about this time last year.

In short I don’t regret it at all. The Speedmaster feels like a watch I will want for the rest of my life where the Tudor never did.

In a funny way I think the Tudor is the “better” watch in most ways. Fantastic movement and felt incredibly well made and solid. The Speedmaster feels more delicate and fragile.

Despite being a mm larger it feels smaller on the wrist which you might like. I do.

I seem to remember also making a point about the fact the Speedmaster goes with all sorts of different straps as well. This is a big bonus. The Tudor looked silly on the fabric strap it came with imo.

I’d go for it.
