Is this a book worth reading?
Discussion
Last week I arrived very early for a client meeting and was wondering how I was going to pass the time. However, rather than the usual corporate literature, I was able to browse this book:

Soon after I started reading, the client arrived and I had to put it back, but it did seem quite informative.
Can anyone recommend this book?

Why not read the reviews on amazon, sid, where you can also buy a used copy in vgc for about a fiver.

Thanks, but there are seemingly a lot of knowledgeable people on here, I trust their views more than random people on Amazon.I ordered this very book from my local bookshop a few months back.
They told me I would probably have to wait a few months because they never know what they are going to get in each delivery.
In fact, they were a bit funny about the whole thing and wanted to know if I was "local" and how many books I had previously bought from them.
Nevertheless, I impressed them with my knowledge of the book and of the book trade in general, and bought some Dan Brown books there and then to try to build a relationship with the shop.
Prompted by this thread, I telephoned them to enquire if they had received any copies yet, but they told me to f
k off.
I think I will try the grey market, or even the library.

My brother's neighbour's cat has a copy of the 10: 1407552724 edition that it bought on tack for a pound and has kept in the safe, unread, complete with labels since new. They told me I would probably have to wait a few months because they never know what they are going to get in each delivery.

That's a 400% profit!! How can people say books are not an investment?
My brother's neighbours cat must be the Wolf of Wall St.
I wonder if it chases itself.

I've just ordered my copy :-)
You don't "order" copies of this book, you 'pull the trigger' on them...I was actually looking for a good book on watches, but couldn't face paying 800 for the Rolex one.
