Random Rolex Acquired this Weekend

Really sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience.
I have just commenced proceedings to auction my vintage 1965/66 Rolex Submariner 5513 with gilt dial. Its a one owner watch and was my dads,. He bought it in Singapore when we were stationed out there. It goes to auction on the 7th March.
Its never been serviced or polished by a Rolex dealer so apart from the glass which was replaced and the strap which I replaced 15 years ago from a Rolex dealer, its original .Had loads of interest from dealers in the states but the import charges are nearly a grand.

No I haven’t yet. But when I was in my local Rolex dealers asking them to check the serial number, a guy in there approached me and said he was a collector and would be interested in buying it for cash. He didn’t say how much so I told him that if it didn’t reach the reserve at auction then I would contact him
