Seiko SKA649 Crystal Replacement
Discussion
Hi,
I have a Seiko SKA649 which has had a chunk taken out of it's hardlex crystal.
Looking on youtube replacing myself looks like a do-able challenge and it would be nice to upgrade to sapphire along the way.
Problem being I have no idea how to size a replacement sapphire correctly. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Or is it a case of just having to remove and measure up what I have first?
Any pointers and also good sources of sapphire crystals appreciated!
Alternatively I could pop it in for a repair but that feels like the easy way out
