Any idea what model my zenith watch is
Discussion
Obviously it has huge sentimental value but it’s possibly not a hugely valuable watch (in monetary terms) because it’s quartz, not a mechanical movement.
It’s possibly from the mid 1980s or so?
Still the value is in the connection with your grandfather.
Hopefully someone else will have some more information for you.

Looks like this auction sample:
Zenith Quartz Watch
Ref. 33.1750.116
9K solid gold case and case back (??)
Three hand day/date, champagne dial, acryl crystal.
About £250 average. Sometimes given as retirement/long service presents, looking at the engravings on the auction sites.
Exact date of manufacture not known but there are some on the auction sites with July 2000 warranty cards. So guess is 1989-2000 or so. Watches sit around in stock for a couple of years so it will be hard to track the exact date/model year without a serial number.
Zenith used 7 (?) jewelled Swiss ETS/ETA quartz movements until 2000-ish. Watch will therefore be serviceable, though today that often means replacing the quartz movement with a new ETA/Ronda. The newer movements will be more accurate and have longer battery life and still be servicable.
It will be a very nice watch to own and wear, with a long life, especially if given a service and immediate battery changes if it stops.
Zenith now label all their quartz watches as 'historical', so a partial service is about €100, full service/refurb about €300. Independents may be cheaper.

Thanks again for the refurbishment information. I’ll have a look and have it done and wrist worthy in no time.
You're welcome. Looks like you have the original box, which is a bonus.
There was also an 18K gold version of your watch.
Someone else's auction pix of a long-service award Zenith from 1994. 'Quartz' ident has moved to the bottom of the dial.

Movement: Note very solid case inner walls instead of using a plastic movement ring. Very nice indeed.:
